Margaret Lucinda Summers

Margaret Lucinda Summers 99 of Moberly passed away August 5, 2011 at Loma Linda Health Care. She was born April 10, 1912 in Kansas City to Joseph Roy and Elizabeth Brown (Melrose) Vance. Before retiring Margaret worked as a cook for the Bradley School. Margaret was a member of the West Park Methodist Church and she was active in the Women of the Moose. On March 10, 1931 she married Tom Summers and he preceded her in death on April 20, 1988. She is survived by daughter Elizabeth Ann Hill of Virginia Beach, VA; one sister Elizabeth Gibson of Columbia; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, four brothers, one sister, one daughter and one son. Services will be Tuesday August 9, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the Million-Taylor Funeral Home in Moberly. Burial will be at the Memorial Park Cemetery.
