Margarete Luntsford

Margarete Elizabeth Luntsford of Madison, Missouri passed away on Monday, February 9, 2015 at 6:00 a.m. at the age of 80 years old. Margarete is survived by her husband Louis Luntsford and her seven children: George Luntsford (Rita), Gloria Swan (James), Danny Luntsford (Tommie), Robert Luntsford (Tammy), Tammy Parker (Leonard), Patricia Bell (Chubs), and Pamela Gallup (Jay). She also has several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and one brother, Rudi Shier of Germany. She is preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Mary Ann Luntsford and her sister Erika Bevis. Margarete was born in Germany and married Louis on February 12, 1957. They moved to the United States in 1958. She worked in nursing for many years, putting forth her love and care for others; but most importantly, she devoted her life and love to her family. Margarete is so deeply loved by her family and all that know her. She will be dearly missed and always loved and cherished in our hearts. Funeral services will be Friday, February 13, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Pathway Memorial Funeral Home in Moberly, MO with interment to follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of service, at the funeral home. Pathway Memorial Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
