Marion J. Pilkington

Marion J. Pilkington, 83, of Macon, Mo. passed away on Sunday October 14, 2012 at the Macon Health Care facility in Macon. Marion was born on July 17, 1929 in Randolph County, Mo. He married Helen Bea Gravitt on October 10, 1951 in Moberly and recently celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary. He was a member of th VFW, American Legion, DAV’s, and he served in the Korean War Army of Engineers. He attended Immanuel Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Helen Pilkington of Macon, Mo., son, Steven, Sr. and wife Sueanna Pilkington of Fairfield, Iowa; daughters, Sherry L. Pilkington Rich of Macon, Mo., and Brenda J. Gwinner and companion, Rick Bailey of Moberly, Mo.; sister, Charlean and husband Troy Lindahl of Hitchcock, Texas; nine grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
