Marjorie Lucile Christian, 103, of Moberly passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2016 at Ravenwood Terrace in Moberly. Lucile was born to Vernon and Wilda (Hopkins) Lehman on June 12, 1912 in Linneus, Missouri. She attended school at North Park Grade School in Moberly in 1926. In 1928 she married David Arthur storm in Moberly and had four children. In 1978, she and Kenneth Christian were married and spent 38 loving years together before her passing. Lucile was preceded in death by her parents; a son, David E. Storm, and brother-in-law, Everet Storm. She loved and supported the many children, grandchildren and great grandchildren she had. She enjoyed playing contract bridge, Liverpool rummy, and the "quarter game". Lucile did beautiful paintings, was a gourmet cook and especially loved cooking for Thanksgiving and Christmas. She was an outstanding seamstress, loved to square dance and enjoyed cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals. Lucile loved to travel to many overseas countries during her lifetime. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Christian of Moberly, Missouri, daughters: Patsy Clark of Innsbrook, Missouri, Linda Lee Secora of Florida, Brenda Sue Freeman of Deland, Florida; step-daughter, Martha Dillabough and husband John of Port Angeles, Washington; step sons: Dale Christian of Tustin, California, and Dr. Bruce Christian; as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Cremation has been accorded by Million Taylor Funeral Homes of Moberly. No services are scheduled at this time. A private inurnment will take place at a later date.
