Martha M. Pratte

Martha Mae Pratte, 88, formerly of Moberly passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2015 at the Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City, Missouri. Martha was born to Chester and Mattie (Sweezer) Lilly on May 24, 1927 in Moberly, Missouri. Her faith was most important in her life only above the love she had for her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening, watching old movies and word search puzzles. Martha was a member of the United Pentecostal Church in Jefferson City, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Richard Pratte; son, Richard William Pratte; and granddaughter, Brandy Lynn Pratte. Survivors include her daughter, Sandra Lee Kitchen of Jefferson City, Missouri; sons: Kenneth Edward Pratte of Salisbury, Missouri, and James Charleston Pratte of Hannibal, Missouri; sister, Barbara Rawson of St. Louis, Missouri; 12 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 2 great- great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 from 12:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. at the Million Taylor Funeral Homes with Reverend Richard Ward officiating. Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery, Moberly, Missouri. In lieu of customary remembrances the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
