Marvin Joe Woods

Marvin Joe Woods 79 of Moberly passed away July 6, 2011 at his home in Moberly. He was born January 22, 1932 in Moberly to Marvin Jasper and Pauline Evelyn (Wayland) Woods. Mr. Woods worked as a Locomotive Engineer for Wabash and Norfolk and Western Railroad before Retiring. He was a member of the American Legion, the VFW, the Moberly, Clark, Huntsville, Cairo and Milton Masonic Lodges. He was a past master of the Moberly lodge. he was also a member of the Ararat Shrine, the Grotto in Columbia, and the Knight Templer. He was a member of the St. Barnabus Episcopal Church. On June 6, 1953 in Moberly he married Cherie Lee Medus and she preceded him in death on January 7, 2010. He is survived by two sons Matthew and Karen Woods and Gregory and Sharon Woods all of Moberly; one daughter Dawn Ravae and James Vondomic “Butch” Todd III of Hawaii and three grandchildren.
