Mary Belle Bailey

Mary Belle Bailey, 92, of Higbee passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at Moberly Nursing & Rehab. Mary was born to Joseph Earl and Ella Mae (Kenepp) Westfall on July 17, 1923 in Fayette, Missouri. She married Denzel Bailey and spent her days as a homemaker taking care of her family. Mary was a member of the Higbee Baptist Church. She enjoyed quilting but her true love was her family and her church family. Mary also enjoyed cooking. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Denzel Bailey; sons: Denzel Wayne and Gerald Duane Bailey; daughter, Janet Elaine Kitchen and her husband Glen. Survivors include her daughter, Mary K. Perkins and husband Mike of Higbee, MO; daughter-in-laws: Patty Bailey of Moberly, Mo, and Becky Bailey of North Carolina; grandchildren: Glenda (Donnie) Stoebe, Lisa (Danny) Lorton, Scott (Jill) Bailey, Joseph (Amy) Perkins, and Amanda (Kyle) Patrick; 9 great-grandchildren, 5 step great-grandchildren, 7 great great-grandchildren, and 6 step great great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Million Taylor Funeral Homes of Higbee. Funeral Services will take place on Friday, September 25, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Ron Forman officiating. Burial will follow at the Higbee City Cemetery.
