Mary O. Cable

Mary Odessa Cable went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 11, 2013 Mary was born May 11, 1928 in Moberly, Missouri to Isla Wickes and William Lee Conner. She married Clarence E. Cable on November 15, 1946 in Moberly, MO by the pastor of the Carpenter Street Baptist Church. Mary worked at Vans Grocery and IGA in her earlier years. She spent the rest of her life as a homemaker where she was able to take care of her grandchildren. She was an active member of Immanuel Baptist Church. Survivors are daughter, Nancy Bartolacci of Moberly; granddaughters: Amanda Embree and fiancé Nowell Wilkerson and her children: Landen, Payton, and Kobe Graves; Jessica Embree and her children, Kayle Embree and Taegan Bartolacci; Samantha and Tyler Brockman and their children: Mayson and Keagan; grandson, Byron Bartolacci; brother, William “Bill” Conner, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence E. Cable; daughter, Judy C. Westfall; mother, Isla Wickes; father, William Conner; and a sister Reba Osborne. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 15, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m. at the Million Taylor Funeral Homes of Moberly. Rev. Mark Deshon will be officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Moberly under the direction of Million Taylor Funeral Homes.
