Mary Cerveny

Mary Katherine Cerveny, 79, of Moberly, MO, passed away peacefully in her home in Huntsville, MO on January 10, 2018 surrounded by her family. Born February 20, 1938 in Ute, Iowa, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Wilma Williams. She devoted her life to nursing and helping others with her main focus being a labor and delivery nurse. She was always loving, caring and always the first to lend a kind word. She is preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Rodger Williams and her sons, Stewart Bowers, Toddy Cerveny and Christopher Cerveny. She is survived by her husband, Jerry Cerveny; siblings, Rich Williams and Shirley Chaffee; children, Steve Bowers, Kristen Bowers Fitzwater, Marcy Orwig, Angie Stephenson and Jerry Cerveny; grandchildren, Jessie Rice, Jennifer Hughes, Cyndal Glynn, Christopher Orwig, Raymond Orwig, Audri Hagan, Allyson Bowers, Chelsea Cerveny, Bryanna Wise, Steven Johnston, Bobby Johnston and Makayla Fitzwater; great grandchildren, Nathaniel Hughes, Vincent Hughes, Liam Glynn, Beckett Glynn, Vincent Glynn, Elliot Glynn, Maxwell Orwig, Harper Hagan and Brinley Wise. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. at Pathway Memorial Funeral Home followed by interment at Oakland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:30 until time of service.
