Mary Louise Dougherty

Mary Louise Dougherty, 95, of Moberly, Missouri, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2023, at Columbia Post Acute.

Mary was born on March 15, 1928, in Renick, Missouri to Jay and Ruth (Stein) Strouvelle.  She graduated from Renick High School and married William “Paul”.  She was a member of the North Park Baptist Church in Moberly.   Mary enjoyed painting, crafts and sewing and loved her cats and dogs.  She was very headstrong, determined and hard working.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul; two sons, James Alan and Laurence Edward Dougherty; one sister, Stella Brandow and close friend, Charles Oberto. 

She is survived by four nieces; one nephew; daughter-in-law, Darlene; several great nieces; nephews; extended family and friends.

A funeral service celebrating Mary’s life has been scheduled for Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. (noon) at Pathway-Millard Family Funeral Chapel in Moberly, Missouri, with Interment to follow at Glendale Memorial Gardens, Centralia, Missouri.  Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. July 18, 2023, at Pathway-Millard Family Funeral Chapel.
