Mary Jeanne Mallory

Mary Jeanne Mallory, 86 of Moberly passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at the Ravenwood Terrace Assisted Living in Moberly. She was born to the late Chase and Minnie (Noel) Smith on July 10, 1926 in Moberly, Missouri. She married Thomas Mallory on February 9, 1946 and he preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were her daughter, Linda Mallory Sasek; brother, Edwin Smith and sister, Maurine McKinney. Mary Jeanne was a member of the Central Christian Church in Moberly. She loved playing bridge, golfing and was an avid bowler. Mary Jeanne is survived by her grandson, Scott Sasek and wife Jeanine of Columbia, MO; granddaughter, Wendy Blair and husband David of High Point, NC; and great grandchildren; Mackenzie Sasek, Elizabeth, Brittany, and Michael Blair. A visitation for Mary Jeanne will be held on Sunday, January 6, 2013 from 1:00 p.m until 3:00 p.m in the chapel of Million Taylor Funeral Home in Moberly. Funeral Service will take place at 3:00 p.m. In Lieu of customary remembrances, the family asks donations be made to the American Cancer Society. Cremation will be accorded by Million Taylor Funeral Homes and interment will take place at a later date.
