Michael Farmer

Michael Allen Farmer, born December 23, 1959. He was survived by his wife of 37 years, Beth of Moberly; daughter, Serena Perkins "Bean Head Soup" of Moberly; son, Jonathan Farmer "Turtle" and wife Angie of Moberly. Grandchildren: Mason, Ayzhah, Ryonna, Ryan, Antrea, and Heaven. Parents, John and Dottie Farmer of Clark. Three half sisters, Sue Long of Ohio, Sharon Bryant of Columbia, and Patty Bradshaw of Columbia. One nephew John Charles Farmer III of Moberly. Several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephew's. He was preceded in death by his brother, John Charles Farmer Jr. "Bimbo" on May 6, 1978. Mike learned how to become a carpenter working with his father. In the past years he was dedicated to remodeling and doing almost any repair on a fraternity house at the University of Missouri, Columbia. He loved to garden, riding his Harley, and doing burn outs in the driveway with his Malibu. He was always willing to help anyone if he could and didn't expect anything in return. He never knew a stranger and was the hardest working man you would ever meet. He truly lived for his family and friends. Mike loved unwinding in his Shop listening to his loud music. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 4th, 2015 from 4:00 P.M. Until 7 P.M. At the Million Taylor Funeral Home of Moberly. Funeral services will be held on Thursday February 5th, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of the funeral home. Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery.
