Mildred Brock

Mildred Louise Brock, passed away at Macon Health Care Center in Macon, MO on September 21, 2017. Mildred was born July 27, 1928 in Keokuk, IA to Henry Hess and Dolly Redeford Hess. She was united in marriage to Herbert Brock, Sr. on May 4, 1947, in Olathe, KS. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church for over sixty years. She enjoyed fishing, camping, crocheting and was a great cook. Mildred was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a grandson, Seth Walker; brother, Donald Hess and sisters, Sue Cottingham and Wanda Colmer. She is survived by her children, Gerald (Sharon) Brock of Springfield, MO, Marvin (Joan) of Tucson, AZ and Herbert Jr. “Junior” (Angela) Brock of Moberly, MO; grandchildren, Laura (Stuart) McVay of Nixa, MO, Lowell Brock of Tucson, AZ, Brent Brock of Las Vegas, NV, Laura Brock of Tucson, AZ, Danny Bowen of Moberly, MO, Christina Paterson of Clark, MO; sister, Virginia Carter of Huntsville, MO; extended family and friends. Services celebrating Mildred’s life will be held Sunday, September 24, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. at Pathway Memorial Funeral Home. Family will hold a private burial at a later time. Visitation will be held Sunday, September 24, 2017, from 1:00 p.m. until time of service.
