Mildred Louise Foster passed away Monday, July 4th 2016 . She was born July 15, 1931 to Andrew and Ethel (Utterback) Martin in rural Randolph County. She grew up helping her father on the family farm and was active in 4H club and won many achievement awards. She encouraged her sister and cousins to become involved in 4-H work. She became a registered X-Ray technician and worked in St. Louis and Moberly area hospitals and doctors offices. In 1952 she was Miss Randolph County and also competed in Miss Dixie contest in Florida. She also modeled for a Meramac Caverns brochure. She married Dennie Foster on September 4, 1960. Louise is survived by her husband Dennie of Moberly, daughter Margaret Suzanne Fischbeck of St. Louis, son James Foster of Columbia, son John Foster of Moberly, sister Bonnie Bohanon & her husband Jim of Moberly. She is also survived by two nephews, many cousins & friends. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Friday, July 8,2016 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the Million Taylor Funeral Homes of Moberly. Private family inurnment will follow at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or Family Life Fellowship Church.
