Mortie Ray Prewitt

Mortie Ray "Charley" Prewitt, 69, of Moberly, Missouri passed away on Monday, February 19, 2018 at Boone Hospital, Columbia, Missouri. He was born February 14, 1949 to Robert and Lillian Mae (Summers) Prewitt in Moberly, Missouri. On July 4, 1969 he married Wanda (Ferguson) Prewitt, she preceded him in death on August 7, 1976, Charley loved spending time with his grandchildren and great granddaughter, he loved going to casino's and enjoyed playing horseshoes. He was also preceded in death by his brothers: Robert "Bob" Prewitt and Roy Prewitt; his sisters: Margaret Epperly, Betty Vittetoe, Evelyn Parker, and Connie Finley. Survivors include his two sons, Marty "Buddy" Prewitt and wife Patricia, and Matthew Prewitt and wife, Lucy all of Moberly; grandchildren: Matthew "Bub" Prewitt, Wanda Prewitt, Tori Gehring, Onnawa Prewitt, Jessy Cross, Harley Prewitt, John Wayne Prewitt all of Moberly; great granddaughter, Dixie Prewitt; two sisters, Judy Jenkins of Kirksville, Dora Gibson of Moberly; brother, Harold Prewitt of Moberly; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. at the Million Taylor Funeral Homes of Moberly. Cremation will follow services.
