Nadine Watkins McGrath, 81, of Columbia completed her life journey Wednesday January 27th 2016.
She was born February 2nd 1934 in the Cairo community to Armel and Cora ( Perkins) Baker. She graduated Cairo High School as valedictorian of her class. She was married to Floyd “Red “Watkins and later in life to Jerry McGrath.
She loved her family, her companion dogs, Texas bluebonnets and enjoyed traveling in her RV. Nadine is survived by her daughter Ladonna Watkins Vest and husband Chuck, son Terry Watkins and friend Janice Wiegand, daughter Denise Watkins Boessen and husband Mike, son Tracy Watkins and friend Miranda Reger, and friends Floyd and Doris Watkins; grandchildren Matt Vest, Pete Vest, Josh Watkins, Jolene Watkins, Jason Watkins, Jordan Watkins, Ben Watkins, Gabe Boessen, Braxton High, and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Armel and Cora Baker and husband Jerry McGrath.
A memorial service will be held at the Liberty Christian Church, Cairo, MO at 11:00 a.m. February 2, 2016 with inurnment to follow in the Liberty Cemetery.
