Nicholas Gordon Mobley, 18, of Columbia, passed away August 9, 2015. He was born June 8, 1997 to Margaret Mobley and attended Westran Public Schools as well as Columbia Schools. He obtained his GED in 2015 from MACC. Nick loved music and scary movies and was involved in school theatre. He loved helping people and would give anything he had to them. He played football for WHS and his favorite football team was the Alabama Crimson Tide! He was an extreme comedian and loved entertaining his family and friends. He never knew a stranger. Nick was a one of a kind son!
Those preceding him in death are his grandfathers, Delbert G. Teter and Edward Anthony Nichols.
He is survived by his parents, John and Margaret Nichols; sister, Shelby Mobley Petty (Jacob) of El Paso, Tx; grandmother, Dixie Teter of Excello, grandparents, Gordon and Debbie Mobley of Moberly and Leonard and Martha Rickey of Huntsville, great grandmothers, Margaret Teter of Moberly, and Wilma Bucklin of Newton, Iowa; aunt Marilyn and uncle Randy Rickey of Huntsville, aunt Amanda Mobley of Moberly, cousins, Raquel and Alexis Rickey of Huntsville, and many friends.
Services celebrating Nick’s life will be held Thursday, August 13, 2015 at Pathway Memorial Funeral home at 8:00 p.m. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family. Pathway Memorial Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
