Nickolaus Michael Burton, 22, of Clark, Missouri, passed away March 16, 2019. Nick was born to Robert Burton and Angela Burrus Embree on April 23, 1996 in Columbia, Mo. He was a graduate of Moberly High School and had obtained a degree in welding. He was employed with Boone Construction in Columbia, MO. Nick attended Logan Street Church of Christ when he was younger. He enjoyed working on the farm with his dad and Paw Paw Burton. Nick could run any piece of equipment you put him on. He was happiest fishing on the river, drinking beer with his friends and listening to his music (LOUD). Nobody loved the 4th of July as much as Nickolaus Burton! He also enjoyed watching the Kansas City Chiefs and being with family. More than anything he loved being a daddy to Beckett. Nick was preceded in death by his stepfather, Justin Embree; great grandmother, JoeAnne White; great grandparents, Wallace and Jeanette Burrus and Edgar and Beulah Burton. He is survived by his girlfriend of three years, Savannah Thompson of Clark; son, Beckett King Burton of Clark; parents, Rob and Kathy Burton of Moberly and Angie Embree of Columbia; siblings, Zack Burton of Columbia, Tucker Burton, Leslie McIff, and Zach Lunceford all of Moberly; grandparents, Mike and Donna Burrus and Gary and Joyce Burton; aunts and uncle, Theresa Kellogg of Moberly, Amiee Burrus of Cairo and Wally and Jennifer Burrus of Gardner, KS; nieces, Mila and Paisley Lunsford, Lillie and Addie McIff; nephew, Konnor Grapes; extended family and many many good friends. A graveside service will be held Thursday, March 21, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery in Moberly. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 20, 2019 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Pathway Memorial Funeral Home. Memorial contributions are suggested to Beckett Burton in care of Academy Bank, 1301 Highway 24E, Moberly, Mo for his son Beckett.
