Nora Mae Gravitt

Nora M. Gravitt, 82 of Moberly passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family. Nora was born on April 3, 1931 in Madison, Missouri to Kate (Snider) and Chester Goldie. She married John Thomas Gravitt on April 9, 1946 in Huntsville, MO. She was a homemaker and lived most of her life in Moberly. Nora was preceded in death by her Husband, John Gravitt; sons: Calvin Gravitt and Richard Gravitt; daughter, Lisa Gravitt, and infant son, Thomas Gravitt. She is survived by 6 children: Katherine Fainter, Rose Ames and husband Mike, Linda Furgason and husband Dick, Jenny Auberlin, Karen Ames and husband Clarence, and John Gravitt all of Moberly; 15 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 5, 2013 from 6:00 p.m until 8:00 p.m at the Million Taylor Funeral Home of Moberly. Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, July 6, 2013 at 11:00 a.m at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Moberly under the direction of Million Taylor Funeral Homes.
