Norma Sue Wiesner, 69, formerly of Madison, MO, passed away at Moberly Nursing and Rehab in Moberly on September 26, 2017.
Norma was born April 23, 1948 in Macon, MO to Farrell and Florence Johnston Taylor. She was a graduate of Madison High School and attended Oak Grove Baptist Church and the Pleasant Green Baptist Church. In 1967, she was united in marriage to Daniel Wiesner in Paris, MO. In her youth, Norma enjoyed participating in singing competitions and playing the piano. She passed her musical talent on to her grandchildren. Norma also liked listening to the radio and dancing.
Those preceding her in death are parents, Farrell and Florence; her husband, Daniel; a son, Richard Johnston; three brothers, Floyd, Manley and Buford Taylor.
She is survived by her children, Danny (Kristy) Wiesner of Moberly, Hopper Wiesner of Moberly, and Julie Wiesner of Madison; grandchildren, Kayla Wiesner of Sedalia, Andrea Wiesner, Isaac Wiesner both of Moberly, Isabelle Wiesner of Madison, Shelby (Andrew Prather) Johnston of Cairo, Dylan Johnston of Madison; great grandchildren Taylor Ferro of Moberly and Lainey Morris of Sedalia, brother Gene (Linda) Taylor of Madison, extended family and friends.
A graveside service celebrating Norma’s life will be held Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at the Oak Grove Cemetery north of Madison at 10:00 a.m.
