Ordell Andrew “Butch” Roland, 73, of Moberly, passed away quietly at his home on July 29, 2020. He was born in Moberly, MO on September 14, 1946 and was raised by his beloved grandmother Nora Hardin.
Ordell attended Moberly Senior High and later drove a bus for Moberly Public Schools. In 1967 he married Mary Ann Eravi and the two spent many wonderful years together. Ordell’s favorite pastime was gardening and keeping a nice lawn. He had a green thumb and could grow beautiful flowers. Ordell also enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially with his great grandson, Jaxtyn.
Those preceding Ordell in death are his mother, grandmother and brother, Albert Rodney.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Roland, of Moberly; his son, Jason Roland of Moberly; grandchildren, Dean (Kayla) Roland of Huntsville, Silas Roland, Bonnie Roland and Clara Roland all of New Mexico; and great grandson, Jaxtyn Roland of Huntsville, several nieces and nephews; extended family and good friends.
A private memorial celebrating Ordell’s life will be held at a later date.
