Patricia C. Dunwoody, 81 of Moberly, Missouri passed away, Sunday, December 9, 2012 at the Moberly Regional Medical Center with her family by her side. Patricia was born October 31, 1931 to the late: Charles Glenn Lawrence and Helen Gould Polston. She married the late Charles “Ray” Dunwoody on February 24, 1950. She was a member of the New Hope United Methodist Church of Clark, Mo, a lifetime member of the American Legion Auxiliary and a lifelong Democrat. She was also preceded in death by: Her son, Bernard Michael Dunwoody and grandson, Colon Ray Barnes. Patricia is survived by: Son, Randy Dunwoody of Moberly, MO, son, Kim R. Dunwoody and wife Debbie of Kansas City, MO, daughter, Jill D. Imbler and husband Lynn of Moberly, MO, daughter, Melinda Dittmeier and husband Paul of Springfield, MO, daughter, Shari Barnes and husband Steve of Higbee, MO, son, Sean Dunwoody of Moberly, Mo, and son, Andrew Dunwoody and wife Rachael of Columbia, MO; brother, Kenneth Lawrence of Moberly, MO, sister, Mildred Self of Kansas City, Mo, brother Billy Lawrence and wife Irene of Union, MO, and sister, Karen K. Lawrence of Kansas City, MO, grandchildren: Amanda K. Dunwoody of Moberly, MO, Audra Clardy (Brian) of Blue Springs, Mo, Heath Dunwoody of Huntsville, MO, Jesse Imbler of St. Louis, MO, Caiti Dittmeier of Tulsa, OK, Ashley Jones (Christian) of Moberly, Mo and Stephanie Barnes of Columbia, MO; great grandchildren: Madeline Clardy, Derek Clardy, Allison Dunwoody, Chance Jones, Emily Jones, and Haley Jones. At the request of Patricia, no funeral services will take place. A family gathering will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at the home of Shari and Steve Barnes beginning at 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial gifts be made to the New Hope United Methodist Church of Clark.
