Patricia (Anno) Laurence, 68, of Moberly passed away Thursday, December 11, 2014 at the Moberly Nursing and Rehab in Moberly. Pat was born to the late Jesse and Hazel (McMullin) Anno on January 5, 1946 in Orrick, Missouri. She married Richard Laurence on December 15, 1963. She began her career at the Randolph County Health Department in 1993. She worked in the Baby Boost Support Division until her retirement in 2006. Pat was a member of the North Park Baptist Church in Moberly. She will be remembered for many things; such as her love for gospel music, her time spent as a Sunday school teacher and her support in many vacation Bible schools. She loved crafts and sewing, enjoyed gardening and had a love for league bowling. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and was most proud of her family farm life where she raised her children. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard in 2002; her parents; brothers: Al Anno and Dave Anno; and sister, Betty Anno. Pat is survived by her daughters: Cindy Bishop and husband Jeff of Poplar Bluff, Diane Wailes and husband Richard of Huntsville; nephew, Eddie Morris of Moberly; niece, Nelcie Morgan of Marshall; sister, Martha Duff of Portland; sister-in-law, Nancy Ogden and husband Joe of Cairo; sister-in-law, Elma Lou Anno of Moberly, grandchildren: Michael Chilton, Joshua Bishop, Tabetha Laurence, Josiah Bishop, Jennefer Bishop, and Keith Riley; great grandchildren: Elizabeth Chilton, Curtis Chilton, Hayden Bishop and one great grandchild expected in 10 days; very close and dear friends: Rosie Wailes of Moberly, Jerry Whelan and son, Clint Bradley of Columbia; many nieces and nephews. A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2014 from 12:00 p.m. until memorial service at 1:30 p.m. at the Million Taylor Funeral Homes of Moberly. Inurnment will take place at a later date. In lieu of customary remembrances, the family asks that memorial donations in Pat’s memory be made to her family.
