Pauline B. Hauber, 96, formerly of Moberly passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at the Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach. Pauline was born on July 13, 1918 in Ann Arbor, Michigan to Calvin Lemuel Platt and Leona Esther (Grey) Platt. She obtained her LPN license and worked as a nursing supervisor in Moberly for most of her career. She was a very active member of the American Legion Auxiliary. Pauline served her time in later years volunteering at the VA Hospital where she spent many hours. She was a gentle, caring woman and was loved by all. She was preceded in death by her husbands: Clifford A. Richmond, Roy Carver, and Rex Hauber; daughter, Pauline; son, Robert; brother, Leonard Platt. Pauline is survived by her daughter, Carol Richmond of Eldon, Missouri; son, Tommy Richmond of Atlanta, Georgia; 9 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and 6 great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 from 1:00 p.m until service time at 3:00 p.m at the Million Taylor Funeral Homes of Moberly. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of customary remembrances, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to American Cancer Society.
