Peter James Wilcoxson

Peter James Wilcoxson, 51 of Higbee, MO passed away Friday, January 4, 2013. Peter was born to the late James Andrew Wilcoxson and Gloria (Cox) Wilcoxson on February 23, 1961. Peter worked for Boone Construction as an Equipment Operator for 21 years. He was a kind, caring, good hearted man who loved his family and was a great papa. He was also a carpenter and took pride in the work he did. He is survived by his mother, Gloria Wilcoxson of Harrisburg, MO; daughter, Kristen Wilcoxson of Fulton, Mo; step-son, Thomas Joe Wilcoxson and wife Jody of Fulton; grandson, Jaice James Schmidt; Brothers: David Will and wife Nelda of Springfield, MO, and Matthew Wilcoxson and wife Tammy of Higbee, MO; sister, Sherry Parks and husband Glen of Moberly,MO; nieces: Kayla Wilcoxson, Heather Dorlac, and Jessica Dale; nephews: Michael Will, Jeff Major, Cody Gunier, and Chris Parks. A visitation for Peter will take place on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 from 3:00 p.m until 5:00 p.m at the Million Taylor Funeral Home of Higbee. Funeral Service will take place at 5:00 p.m with Reverened Ron Foreman officiating. In keeping with Peter’s wishes, cremation will follow funeral services. In lieu of customary remembrances, the family asks that memorial donations be made to a college fund for Jaice Schmidt.
