Phyllis Voeltz, 74, of Higbee, Missouri, passed away on February 9, 2021, at her home. Phyllis was born October 9, 1946, to William "Pat" and Ruby (Goodding) Forrest in Cairo, Missouri. Phyllis married Karl Voeltz on April 5, 1972 and celebrated 48 years together. She worked for CMRO in the records department. Phyllis had a big sense of humor and is known for her funny and bold personality. She was a very loving person and would help anyone that needed it. She enjoyed playing bingo and would volunteer at the VFW Post 2654 which she was a member of. She loved her grandbabies and her friends and family. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Phillip Wayne Forrest; granddaughter, Madeline Corbett; and best friend, Snookie Beard. Survivors include her husband, Karl Voeltz of Higbee, Missouri; daughter, Syndi Voeltz of Higbee, Missouri; brother, Melvin Forrest of Moberly, Missouri; grandchildren: Michael Voeltz, Rebecca (J.W) Corbett, Elizabeth Shepherd, and Karlea Gravitt; great-grandchildren: Raelynn, Jacob, Garrett, Ariel, and A.J; and nephew, Tony (Jessica) Forrest of Moberly, Missouri. A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2021, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Million Taylor Funeral Homes of Moberly. Funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Vic Comstock officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Cairo, Missouri.
