Randall "Randy" Glen Dunwoody, 66, of Moberly, Missouri, passed away on Monday, December 18, 2017, surrounded by his daughter, brothers, and sisters. Randy was born to Charles "Ray" and Patricia C. (Lawrence) Dunwoody on January 3, 1951 in Moberly, Missouri. Randy farmed with his father and was then later employed by the Moberly Correctional Center as a Corrections Office for 18 years before retiring on March 1, 2017. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and anything outdoors. His number one love was spending time with his grandbabies. Randy was known for his ability to calm situations and his brutally honest character. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Bernard Michael Dunwoody. Survivors include his daughter, Amanda K. Cuminale and husband Joe of Meadville, Missouri; brothers: Kim Dunwoody and wife Debbie of Kansas City, Missouri, Sean Dunwoody of Moberly, Missouri, and Andrew Dunwoody and wife Rachael of Columbia, Missouri; sisters: Jill D. Imbler and husband Lynn of Moberly, Missouri, Melinda Dittmeier and husband Paul of Springfield, Missouri, and Shari Barnes and husband Steve of Higbee, Missouri; grandchildren: Paul Randall, Lillian Grace, Garrett Patrick, and Lucianna Rose; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. at the Million Taylor Funeral Homes of Moberly with Pastor Joe Cuminale officiating. Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery, Moberly, Missouri. In lieu of customary remembrances, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Hospice Compassus of Macon, 1701 A Prospect Drive, Macon, Missouri 63552.
