Randy Ames

Randy Ames, 55, of Moberly passed away at his home June 1, 2016. Randy was born in Moberly, MO April 15, 1961 to Floyd and Marjorie Kirkendoll Ames. After graduation from Moberly High School, he joined the United States Marine Corp where he honorably served his country from 1979 to 1983. Randy enjoyed fishing, hanging out with his family and playing pool. He was an excellent caretaker to his children. Those preceding Randy in death are his father, a sister, Deni Backe and his daughter Cheyenna Ames. He is survived by his mother and step-father Marjorie and Jack Kennedy, sister Brenda (Kenny) Clayton of Marshall, MO; children Ryan Zinkle of Wisconsin, Taleana Ames of Joplin, Nathan (Kristina) Ames of Huntsville, and Addie Ames of Moberly; grandchildren Emma Zinkle of Wisconsin, Haylee Cliver, Trenton Ames and Alaina Ames all of Huntsville, Natalee Wegs and Preston Wegs both of Joplin, extended family and friends. Services for Randy will be Monday, June 6, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Pathway Memorial Funeral Home in Moberly. Visitation will be from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
