Randy Ray Coonce, 51, of Moberly, Missouri passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at his home. Randy was born on June 6, 1969 in Quincy, Illinois to Charles Coonce and Minnie Ellen (Prewitt) Coonce. Randy was a lifelong resident of Randolph County, attending Moberly Public Schools. After school, he began his work as a jack of all trades. He worked in construction, as a mechanic and was an avid roofer. There wasn’t anything Randy couldn’t fix. Randy met Malinda, and the two began dating in January of 2013, they were fortunate to spend 7 happy years together. In his free time, he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. Randy especially enjoyed watching his children as they performed in high school sports. Kadie playing golf, with fond memories of her father keeping her company and walking with her at sectionals, and his son, Koby, who played football, baseball and basketball for Westran High School. He liked to spend time riding his Harley around. He could frequently be found out at the local racetrack watching the cars and dirt bikes race. Randy was a great man who will be greatly missed. Randy is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Minnie; brother, Denny Welch, and various additional extended family members. Survivors include his significant other, Malinda Adams; children, Kadie (Derek) Parsons and Koby Coonce, both of Huntsville; grandson, Kayne Parsons of Huntsville; siblings, Joe (Libby) Welch of Moberly, Tim (Debbie) Coonce of Huntsville, Richie Coonce of Moberly, Chris (Connie) Coonce of Moberly and Doug Coonce, also of Moberly; extended family and close friends. A gathering of family and friends celebrating Randy Ray Coonce’s life will be held Friday, August 7, 2020 at 11:30 a.m. at the Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church, 1440 State Hwy JJ, Moberly, Missouri. Pathway Memorial Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
