Randy Roland Dameron, 67, passed away peacefully at Moberly Regional Medical Center on July 21, 2020, with his loving wife by his side. Randy was born on September 15, 1952, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Billie and Catherine (Reed) Dameron, and was raised in Gladstone, Missouri. He graduated from Oak Park High School in 1970. Randy served in the Army in South Korea and later lived for several years in Tacoma, Washington. He eventually settled in Moberly, Missouri, and married Connie McDermit, the love of his life. They were happily married for nearly 20 years. Randy had a passion for fishing. He took advantage of every opportunity to fish the wonderful lakes of Missouri, but he most enjoyed fishing with his brothers and family on Frog Pond at the home of his parents, Billie and Catherine. Randy worked as hard as he fished and for many years, prior to retirement, he was co-owner of an agri-business with his older brother, Rod, installing hog pens for grateful farmers throughout the Midwest. Randy was preceded in death by his parents, Billie and Catherine; and older brother, Bob. He is survived by his wife, Connie; step-children: Tracey Walker, Kathy Munford, and Daniel Twyman; Randy is also survived by his brothers: Rod (Carol) Dameron, Ron (Debbie) Dameron, Russ (Lori) Dameron; sister, Jo (Greg) Besette, and sister-in-law, Virginia Dameron. He also leaves behind many loving in-laws, step-grand and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews, too many to mention by name but who were always in Randy's heart and mind. You know who you are. Randy was a good honest man. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends, and will be forever in our hearts. A private remembrance for Randy will be he held at a later date.
