Rebecca Reinerd

Rebecca Joe Reinerd, 69, of Higbee, passed away Friday, April 14, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loved ones. Becky was born January 11, 1948 to Raymond N. Stone and Emma Lucille White Stone in Burlington, IA. On May 31,1980, she married Jay Reinerd in Moberly, MO. She worked as an LPN at Community Hospital, Orscheln Industries and finally for Loma Linda where she worked for 20 years before she retired. Becky enjoyed being a care giver and always had a ready smile for patients. She was a wonderful wife, special sister, devoted mother and doting grandmother. She will be missed by so many. Those preceding Becky in death are her parents, Raymond and Emma Lucille Stone and two sisters, Marie Hultz and Martha Thomas. Survivors include her husband, Jay Reinerd of Higbee; her children, Teresa Messer of Higbee and Jim Zumwalt of Clarksville, AR; grandchildren, Dani Zumwalt of Mexico, Miranda Zumwalt of Higbee, Austin (Jessica) Messer of Fayette, Nikki Zumwalt and Amanda Almond both of Clarksville, AR and Stephanie Reavis of AR; great grandchildren, Karter Messer of Fayette, Chancellor Cisco, Steven Rigsby and Gabriel Curtis all of Clarksville, AR and Emmalyn Reavis of AR; siblings, Carolyn (Don) Jones of Kansas City, Linda (Ed) Lechliter of Paris, Nancy (Robert) Harris of Boonville, Ron (Debbie) Stone of Madison, Ramona (Rick) Spires of Des Moines, IA, Glenna Schofield of St. Joseph, Don (Karen) Stone of Hallsville, AJ (Cappie) Stone of Higbee, Jean (Terry) Richards of Austin, TX and Janet (Kevin) Stephens of Pensacola, FL; extended family and close friends. A memorial service celebrating Becky’s life will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Pathway Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorial contributions in Becky’s honor to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
