Rebecca Ann Thomas Flood, 69, of Moberly, passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at her home surrounded by family. Rebecca, better known as Becky or Granny B, was born December 27, 1945 in St. Louis, MO to Henry Luke Thomas and Jessie Mae Cooper Thomas. She graduated from Niangua Public Schools in 1963 and on June 13, 1966 she married Dave Flood in Republic, MO. Becky was a member of the Timberlake Christian Church where she taught Sunday school. She was also co-owner of Elbow Grease and worked as an interior painter and paper hanger until she retired in 2006. Those preceding Becky in death are her parents and her daughter-in-law, Kittie Flood. She is survived by her husband, Dave Flood; her children, Eric and Cece Flood of Middle Grove, MO, Nick and Andee Flood of Prairie Home, MO and Marcus and Karie Flood of Middle Grove, MO; siblings, Sarah and Joe David O’Donnel of Pasco, WA, Joe and Ila Thomas of Caney, KS and Henry Phillip Thomas of Branson, MO; 12 beloved grandchildren, extended family and friends who considered her “their” Granny B. Becky loved spending time with her grandkids and family. She enjoyed gardening, swimming, fireworks and celebrating holidays with those she loved. Services celebrating Becky’s life will be held Saturday, November 21, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at Pathway Memorial Funeral Home in Moberly, MO with interment to follow at the Middle Grove Cemetery in Middle Grove, MO. Visitation will be held Friday, November 20, 2015 at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Memorial Contributions are appreciated to the Middle Grove School, 11476 Route M, Madison, MO 65263.
