Reginald Miles Wise

Reginald “Reggie” Miles Wise, age 70 of Moberly, Missouri (formerly of Trenton, Missouri), went to be with the Lord on July 22, 2024, at his home in Moberly.

Reggie was born on April 8, 1954, to Betty Jean Campbell Wise and Junior “Max” Wise. He graduated from Trenton High School. He honorably served his country in the United States Marine Corps. Reggie was well-known for his skills in automotive mechanics and his skills in cooking, especially behind the grill.

He married Karra Renee Overholtzer Wise on September 17, 1982, in Colorado. He enjoyed any time that he was able to spend with friends and family. His family and friends will always remember his kind heart, ornery nature and always being there for anyone who needed him.

Reggie is preceded in death by his parents, wife, and one infant son, Garland Eugene Wise.

He is survived by his daughter Erica R. (Shawn) Johnson, of Moberly, MO; granddaughter Brianna Johnson, of Moberly, MO; grandson Zachary Johnson, of Moberly, MO; brother Christopher Wise, of Moberly, MO; brother Michael (Diana) Wise, of Roanoke, VA; extended family and many close friends, especially his lifelong friend, Dale Meeks.

A memorial service celebrating Reggie’s life has been scheduled for Saturday, August 24 at 3:00 p.m., at West Park United Methodist Church in Moberly, Missouri. Full Military Honors and Inurnment will be at Jacksonville Veterans Cemetery, Jacksonville, Missouri, on Thursday, September 12 at 2:00 p.m.
