Richard Louis Moser, 65, of Higbee passed away on Friday, October 24, 2014 at his home with his family by his side. Richard was born on February 25, 1949 in Boonville, Missouri to Albert and Hazel (Hayes) Moser. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps. in 1968. Richard and Dianna Oestreich were married on November 15, 1986. Richard was able to fix anything and was an excellent carpenter. He enjoyed fishing and loved to ride his Harley. Richard owned his own handy man service for many years. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Roger Moser; and sister Dorothy Cade. Richard is survived by his wife, Dianna Moser of Higbee; sons: Gary Moser and wife Kelly of Moberly and Joshua Moser of Higbee; daughters: Sheri Samp and husband Paul of Moberly, Tammy Covert and husband Dave of Moberly, Heather Skidmore of Wisconsin, Jessica Conner and wife Jennifer of Columbia; brothers: David of Mt. Airy, Mike of Arkansas, Wayne of Higbee, Mancil of Nevada, Melvin of Kansas, and Darrell of Kansas; sister: Jayne Winn of Illinois, Millie Burns of Florida, Kay Barrett of New Mexico, and Dee Culbertson of Illinois; grandchildren: Brent, Hazel, Corbin, Dawson, Caleb, Alicia, Syia, Adrian, and Noah. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 27, 2014 from 5:00 p.m until 7:00 p.m at the Million Taylor Funeral Homes of Higbee. Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at 12:00 p.m at the Million Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Vic Comstock officiating. Burial will follow at the Higbee City Cemetery.
