Robert Neal Wester, age 24, of Texarkana, TX, passed through the gates of heaven; alongside family on July 7, 2022, at the University of Missouri Hospital. Neal “Pickle” was born on January 4, 1998, in Texarkana, TX to Robert David and Sandy (Jones) Wester. In 2009, he moved to Moberly, MO and was both a student and caretaker for his mother for more than 5 years. He graduated from Christian Academy.
Neal was accomplished and dedicated to showing unconditional love to others, and especially those less fortunate.
He was a member of the body of Christ as a faithful Christian and enjoyed his time as a care taking and loving son, unconditionally loving brother, devoted uncle, and friend to many. Neal was a selfless and fearless man who loved endlessly. Neal was a social, active man who was deeply involved in poetry, music, artistic views, and a hunger to change the world for the better.
He enjoyed nature meditation, practicing various ways of exploring his faith and beliefs not only in the form of Christianity, but also in his courage to change the world. His family and friends will always remember him as intelligent, non-judgmental, open minded, a free spirit and most known for his contagious laugh.
Neal would set aside his own bad day to ensure that he made someone else day better by smiling until they themselves had the very same laughter.
He is preceded in death by his father, Robert David Wester.
He is survived by his adored mother, Sandy Dunbar, his sister and best friend, Kayla Wester, brother, Michael Medina, nephew, Liam, nieces, Grace and Gwen, Aunt Myra Spiros, additional aunts, uncles, and many cousins, which he loved dearly. He had a large circle of friends including Ryal Boulware, Keli Davis, Tyler Dowling, Kassidy Schafstall.
A private memorial service celebrating Robert Neal Wester’s life has been scheduled for Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at Family life Fellowship, 1614 East Highway 24, Moberly, MO, at 5:00 pm. There will be a visitation from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm prior to the Memorial service, with Inurnment to follow in Texarkana, TX.
