Robert Louis Westfall

Robert L. Westfall, 88 of Higbee, Mo passed away Friday, May 3, 2013 at the Moberly Regional Medical Center. He was born June 28, 1924 to the late Joseph Earl and Ella Mae Kenepp Westfall. He served in the United States Navy from 1943 until 1946. He married Evelyn Orton in 1946. Robert worked as a material handler for McGraw Edison for 30 years before retiring in 1983. Robert was preceded in death by his son, Robert Westfall Jr. and daughter Karen Sue Westfall Clark; grandson, Christopher Lee Dougherty; sisters: Frances Evelyn Tuggle and Thelma Louise Ancell; and brother, Earl Ray Westfall. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Evelyn Westfall of Higbee; son, Bill Westfall and wife Audrey of Huntsville; daughters: Kay Stephens of New Franklin, Peggy Dougherty and husband Daniel of Rural Higbee, and Fran Dougherty and Sheila Rusher of Huntsville; sister, Mary Belle Bailey of Higbee; 14 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. A visitation will be held on Monday, May 6, 2013 from 4:00 p.m until 7:00 p.m at the Million Taylor Funeral Home of Higbee. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at 2:00 p.m at Million Taylor Funeral Home with Bob Eichenberger officiating. Burial will follow in the Higbee City Cemetery.
