Ronald Herbert Bartels

Roland Herbert Bartels, 68 of Moberly passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at the Moberly Nursing and Rehab. Roland was born to Herbert Lewis Bartels and Eleanor Cecilia Partheader Bartels on May 31, 1944 in St. Louis, MO. He worked for Con Agra as a Quality Control Manager for 20 years. He had a great love for the outdoors and his faithful sidekick Shoan and Selah his silver puppy. He was a quiet man who enjoyed writing poetry and sharing with his family. He will be missed by family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Herbert Bartels; step-father, Delbert Wehrheim; brother, Mark Bartels; and daughter, Jamie Bartels. Roland is survived by his mother, Eleanor Wehrheim of St. Louis, MO; significant other, Ruth “Beth” Coffelt of Moberly, Mo; son, Seth Bartels and wife Rosanna of Bevire, MO; daughter, Kerry Robin Garrison of Macon, MO; brother, Clifford John Wehrheim of St. Louis, MO; sister, Roberta Stein of Aurora, IL; grandchildren: Kayte, Sebastian, Jamie, Evan, Dalton, and Bailey; and great granddaughter, Ayva. A gathering will be held for Roland on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 1:00 P.M at the Million Taylor Funeral Home of Moberly.
