Ronald Allen Westfall

Ronald Allen Westfall, age 67 of Buffalo, MO entered into eternal peace Saturday, February 1st, 2014 at University Hospital, Columbia, MO. Ron was born November 28th, 1946 in Higbee, MO to Everette Allen and Mary Virginia (Lyon) Westfall. He graduated from Higbee High School in 1964 then served three years in the United States Navy. He was married to Carol Ann (Points) Westfall June 20th, 1970 in Moberly, MO. He was proud to carry on the family tradition of hand split white oak basket making. In his career he achieved several awards and has his name on three patents. He loved to barbeque and see people enjoy it. Ron is survived by his wife, Carol; mother, Mary Virginia Westfall of Higbee; son, Jason Allen Westfall, daughter in law Casey Westfall, and #1 grandson Carson Allen Westfall of West Paducah, KY; and sister Marilyn Derboven of Higbee. He was preceded in death by father Everette Allen Westfall; son, Leslie Allen Westfall; and in-laws, Bill and Evelyn Points. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 3rd from 5:00 p.m until 8:00 p.m at the Million Taylor Funeral Homes of Moberly. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, February 4th at 10:00 a.m at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Higbee City Cemetery. A lunch and time of fellowship immediately following burial will be held at the Lion's Club in Higbee, Mo. Anyone who knew Ron would know that he loved life and lived life by "The Seven P's".
