Rosa L. Raye

Rosa L. Raye, 84 of Madison passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at the Moberly Regional Medical Center. Rosa was born to the late William and Francis (Spry) Sharpes on December 1, 1928 in Clay County, Missouri. Rosa worked for the North Kansas City Hospital where she served in the food service department for many years before retiring. She then moved to the Madison area and worked for Wal-Mart in Moberly as a cashier. She loved to work outside, loved her animals and enjoyed farming. She is survived by her daughter, Nola J. Griffin and husband David of Excelsior Springs, Mo; 5 sons: Hurley Ealey of Lawson, MO; T.J Ealey and wife Paula Jean of Smithville, MO; David L. Ealey of Madison, MO; Benney J. Ealey of Lee Summitt,MO; and William L. Ealey and wife Kelly of Moberly, MO; 3 brothers: Harold Sharpes of Madison, Mo; Lloyd Sharpes of Michigan; and Donne Sharpes of Independence, MO; numerous grandchildren and several great grandchildren and great- great grandchildren.
