Samuel Lawrence Pool, Jr.

Samuel Lawrence Pool Jr., 62, of Moberly, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on Sunday, May 22, 2022 at his home.

Sam was born on October, 17, 1959 in Adair County, Missouri, to Samuel and Neva (Harison) Pool Sr. He graduated from Cairo in 1978.

He married Marsha Lewis on August 22, 1981 in Huntsville, Missouri.

Sam enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family and taking care of his cat Phoebe.

He is preceded in death by his wife Marsha Pool and his father Samuel Pool Sr.

Sammy is survived by his mother, Neva Owens; daughter, Samantha; in-laws, Dennis and Diana Prewitt; John and Cindy Hess; George Lewis; Harold (Jo) Lewis; Susan (Michael) Smith; Denise Prewitt; Denni (Jason) Bunce; Briar (Rici) Hess; Ely Hess; Liz, Rylee and Callen Hess; several nieces; nephews; and many close friends.

A funeral service has been scheduled Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Pathway-Millard Family Funeral Chapel in Moberly, Missouri. Inurnment to follow at the Huntsville City Cemetery.
