Sandra Kaye Hendren Rumsey

Sandra Kaye Hendren Rumsey, 70, of Shreveport, Louisiana, passed away December 2, 2011 at Willis-Knighton Medical Center surrounded by family and friends. She was born April 26, 1941 in Madison, Missouri, the daughter of the late Lula Mae Gibson and Virgil E. Hendren. She was the second of four children and was married to the late Robert Rumsey. Sandra was raised in Moberly, Missouri and attended school there. After marriage she attended Cosmetology School. Sandra was a member of the Willow Springs Baptist Church in Shreveport. She is survived by sons David of Chattanooga, TN, Terry and Kevin of Shreveport, LA, granddaughter Erin Christine of MO, sister Darline Dutton and husband Charley and Virginia Patrick and husband Robert all of Missouri, Paula Cook of Iowa, Carolyn Morgan and husband Clarence of Oklahoma; brothers Larry Gibson and wife Sandy of Oklahoma, Lavern Hendren and wife Linda and Danny Hendren and wife Barbara of Missouri, Howard Gibson (deceased) and wife Setsuko of Virginia. she...
