Shanna Lynne Christenson

Shanna Lynne Christenson, age 30, of Higbee, Missouri, passed away surrounded by family on May 11, 2024, at home.

Shanna was born on August 11, 1993, in Columbia, Missouri, to Robert and Jane Clark.  She graduated from Higbee RVIII School and from Sam Browns’s Cosmetology in 2013 with a degree in Cosmetology.  She owned her own salon in Higbee, Missouri.

She married Robert Christenson on August 8, 2020, in Higbee, Missouri. Shanna was a social active woman who was deeply involved in her work and family for the majority of her life.  She enjoyed working with the kids at school, coaching softball, going to ballgames and fostering children.  Her family and friends will always remember her as a straight shooter, a great mom, and a loving person who gave it her all.  She was a true warrior.

She is preceded in death by her Grandparents Robert and Peggy Clark, Grandpa Joe Pottebaum, Great Grandparents Bill and Eloise Bowden and Great Grandparents Bill and Colleen Purdy.

Shanna is survived by her husband Robert Christenson of Higbee, Missouri; her parents Robert and Jane Clark of Higbee, Missouri; her children Elena Jackson, Avery Jackson, and Walker John Gray-Christenson all of Higbee, Missouri; brother Evan Clark of Higbee, Missouri; nephews Cooper and Benson Clark and niece Ruby Clark all of Higbee, Missouri; Grandma Madge Pottebaum; aunts; uncles; extended family and many close friends.

A funeral service celebrating Shanna’s life has been scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at Pathway-Millard Family Funeral Chapel, Moberly, Missouri, with interment to follow at Higbee City Cemetery, Higbee, Missouri. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at Pathway Millard Funeral Chapel, Moberly, Missouri.
