Shirley Jo Branstetter, age 83, of Moberly, Missouri passed away surrounded by her family on March 4, 2022, at her home.
Shirley Jo Brandtetter (Ma) was born April 1, 1938, in Moberly, Missouri to Orb and Flossy (Gibson) Gravitt.
Shirley attended Moberly public schools and graduated from Moberly High School in 1957.
Shirley married her husband Kenneth E. Branstetter on March 28, 1959, in Moberly. She was an active member of The Gathering Church for most of her life.
Shirley was a great mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She enjoyed word search puzzles, Jeopardy, and taking care of her family. Shirley will always be remembered for her unconditional love and generosity as well as her hugs and kisses.
Shirley is preceded in death by her husband Kenneth E. Branstetter and her son Kenneth Wayne Branstetter.
Shirley leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Patti Smith (Roger) of Bevier; two sons, William “Billy” J. Branstetter of Moberly and Robert “Bob” Branstetter (Rose) of Cairo; seven grandchildren Chris and Jacqui Branstetter of Hollister, MO, Robert and Summer Branstetter of Moberly, MO, Rebecca and Robert Schaedel of Columbia, MO, Kenneth L. Branstetter of Moberly, MO, Angie and Corey Eyeman of Ten Mile, MO, Joey and Molly Smith of Liberty, MO, Shannon and Jon Bergfield of Anabel, MO; thirteen great grandchildren Kayla Branstetter, Chris Branstetter II, Jaiden Girdley, Colton Branstetter all of Hollister, MO, Alex Schaedel of Columbia, MO, Tanner and Cooper Eyeman both of Ten Mile, MO, Avery and Ethan Smith both of Liberty, MO, Kenny Howard, Breach and Logan Bergfield all of Anabell, MO, Alevia Brozovich of Kansas City, MO; as well as many cousins and family friends.
A graveside service for Shirley will be held Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Grand Prairie Cemetery in Cairo, Missouri.
