Shirley Ann Phillips, 43, of Moberly went home to be with her Lord on March 30, 2017. She passed away at Moberly Regional Medical Center surrounded by her family and friends.
Shirley was born November 1, 1973 in Streator, IL to Shirley Teubner and Danny Hunt. She obtained her GED and attended college while living in Springfield, MO before relocating to Moberly in 2016.
Shirley stood for what she believed in and would never back down. Her heart was big and filled with love. She was the best sister, mother, daughter and friend that anyone could ask for. Shirley always spoke her mind and was strong, supportive, loved helping others and went out of her way to help family and friends. She always accepted others for who they were and was someone to look up to. Shirley enjoyed fishing, socializing with friends, dancing and doing art activities. She especially loved horseback riding and being a mother. She was a loving woman with a beautiful soul. She will be missed so very much by all who knew her.
Survivors include her fiancé, James Cuno Jr, of Moberly; her children, James Lee Cuno III, of Moberly, Julia LeAnn Cuno, of Columbia, Blake Allen Cuno of Moberly, and Austin Wayne Cuno of Moberly; her parents, Shirley Teubner of Lebanon and Danny Hunt of Strafford; her siblings, Melissa Phillips, of Moberly, Tina Phillips of Joplin and Carl Marcum of Lebanon; Kathi Cuno, of Moberly, who was like a mother to her; extended family, many friends and a grandchild who is on the way.
