Shirley Jean Ray

Shirley Jean Ray, 84 of Moberly, passed away Thursday May 31, 2012 at North Village Park in Moberly. She was born May 16, 1928 to William and Opal Clements Marquardt in Brookfield, Missouri. She graduated from Moberly Junior College. She married Wyman Ray June 27, 1948 in Moberly. She was a member of West Park United Methodist Church in Moberly. She worked for many years as a clerk for the Water Department of the City of Moberly. Shirley and her husband were volunteers for many years for Meals on Wheels. She is survived by her husband, Wyman Ray of the home and two daughters, Kathy & George Graham of Clifton Hill, Missouri and Patty Smith of Rogersville, Missouri. Two granddaughters and four great grandsons. She was preceded by her parents. Services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday June 4, 2012 at Million-Taylor Funeral Home in Moberly with Visitation from 12 to 1:00 p.m. on Monday and Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
