Stephen Munoz

Stephen Amiel Munoz, age 38, Moberly, Mo went home to spend eternity with Jesus on February 12, 2016 at his home surrounded by his loving wife and children. Stephen was born on June 24, 1977 in Yuba City, Ca, to Joseph and Weltha (Biggs) Munoz. He received his Associates in Psychology from Moberly Area Community College and held a masters electrical/journeyman license. He did HVAC work in the local community for 18 years. Stephen was a member of Family Life Fellowship, he enjoyed volunteering his time in the children/youth ministry, as a sound engineering tech and in any other areas that there was a need. Stephen married Mary Jolene (Passard) on June 10, 2000 in Oklahoma. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and friends in his free time. Stephen’s family and friends will always remember him for his deep devotion to God and family. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Rev D.T. and Veleta Biggs; Aunt, Teala V. Bray; cousin, Alisia T. Biggs and father Joseph Munoz. Stephen is survived by his wife, Mary Jo; and their children, Jeremy Stephen Munoz, Jacob Alexander Munoz, and Samantha Jolene Munoz all of the home; his mother, Weltha Biggs of Chattanooga, TN; his mother-in-love Colleen Langley of Moberly, MO; three sisters, three brothers-in-love and one sister-in-love, Pauline and Manual Zaragoza, of Bakersfield, CA, Angie and T.J. Fry of Neosho, MO, and Sylvia Munoz of Cleveland, TN, Christopher and Taryn Langely of Moberly, MO; eight nieces, four nephews, three grandnieces, extended family and many close friends. A memorial service celebrating Stephen’s life will be held Monday, February 22 at 6:00 p.m. at Family Life Fellowship, Moberly, Mo.
