Steven A. Neal

Steven (Steve) Andrew Neal, age 70, of Moberly, MO passed away peacefully at his home in Moberly, MO on February 22, 2023. Steve was born February 27, 1952, Moberly, MO to Willard “Bud” Neal and Mona (Rodgers) Neal.

Steve attended school in Moberly, MO. Steve was an over the road truck driver for more than 47 years and he received a 2 million Mile Safe Driving Award. Steve married Kathy Kirkendoll on April 25, 1969, in Huntsville, MO.

Steve enjoyed waterfowl hunting, fishing, fish fry’s, spending time with family and friends and his hunting dogs. His family and friends will always remember him as a caring and loving person who loved to tell stories and was generous and kindhearted.

He is preceded in death by his father and mother, brother, Kevin Neal, brother in-law, Robert (Snuffy) Smith, sister in-law, Gale Hackett, nephews, Stacey Smith and Trent Hackett and his beloved dogs.

Steve is survived by his wife, Kathy Neal, of Moberly, MO; sister, Sherry Smith, Clark, MO, sons, Scott (Sheri) Neal, Renick, MO, Keith (Jocelyn) Neal, Cairo, MO, grandchildren, Courtney Longdon, Jacksonville, MO, Katelin (Tyler) Boots, Moberly, MO, Jordon (Sierra) Neal, Jacksonville, NC, Dakota (Kimberly) Neal, Moberly, MO, great grandchildren, Cooper & Amillia Longdon, Jacksonville, MO, Travis, Bailey and Trevor Boots, Moberly, MO, Lily Neal, Jacksonville, NC, Teagan, Layla and Lexi Neal, Moberly, MO.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, February 28, 2023, from 11:00 to 1:00 p.m. at Pathway-Millard Family Funeral Chapel followed by a Final Prayer. Interment will take place at the Clifton Hill Cemetery, Clifton Hill, MO. In honor of Steve’s life, memorial contributions are appreciated to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 680 Craig Rd, #300, St. Louis, MO 63141.
