Susan Kay Anno

February 19, 1963 — February 11, 2021

Susan Kay Anno, 57, of Moberly, Missouri, passed away at her home on February 11, 2021. Susan was born February 19, 1963, to Albert Keith and Elma Louise (Lessley) Anno in Long Beach, California. She was a long-time member of North Park Baptist Church. Her strong and unwavering faith in Christ was an inspiration to all who knew her. She not only lived out her faith, but she wanted others to know of God's great love. During her career, she worked for Westlake Hardware and MBS Textbook Exchange where she provided system support and training. She had a big personality and her quirky sense of humor entertained others and put them at ease. Susan enjoyed photography and singing and often wrote poems to express her thoughts and feelings. She loved to travel and visited almost all of the 50 United States, as well as Nova Scotia and Venezuela. She was a very compassionate and loving person who touched many lives. She loved children and often volunteered her time to work with and encourage them. Some ministries important to her were the "Take Care of My Kids" organization in Moberly and "Samuel's House", a children's group home in Venezuela. She saw the best in everyone and will be greatly missed by her friends and family. Susan was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her sisters: Sheri E. Vestal and husband Jeff, Jessica Lynn Smith, and Dora E. King and husband Adam, all of Moberly, Missouri; nieces and nephews: Kathryn "Katie" L. Vestal, Kenzie S. Smith, Logan J. King, and Nathan G. King of Moberly, Missouri; and her beloved cat, Gizmo. A visitation will be held on Friday, February 19th, at North Park Baptist Church from 6:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. A memorial service will take place at 6:30 p.m. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Susan Kay Anno please visit our Sympathy Store.
