Susan Jeanette Gully, 67, of Huntsville, Missouri, passed away on November 12, 2020, at Boone Hospital, Columbia, Missouri. Susan was born November 16, 1952, in Moberly, Missouri, to Ralph Lee and Betty Jacquoline (Mayfield) Kitchen. She married Larry Dean Gully on April 18, 1969. Susan worked for Little Dixie Regional Libraries for 45 years. She was a member of West Park United Methodist Church of Moberly. Susan volunteered for many organizations throughout the community, she was a caregiver to all and a great cook. Her love for reading was second to the love for her family. Depending on the day, she sometimes chose books first. Susan was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Dean Gully; brothers: Jackie Lee and Ralph Dewayne; sisters: Sheila Jean and Brenda Renee. Survivors include her daughter, Jeanette (Randy) Mauzey of Madison, Missouri; sons: Richard (Michele) Gully of Moberly, Missouri, Michael P. Gully of Moberly, Missouri, John D. (Leslie) Wales of Huntsville, Missouri, and Jason D. (Misty) Gully of Huntsville, Missouri; brothers: Daniel Lee (Anna) Perkins of New Orleans, Louisiana, and Stephan Barger of Clifton Hill, Missouri; sisters: Judy Carol Robinson of Independence, Missouri, Robin Lee Lorton of Higbee, Missouri, and Debra Jean Eisenhofer of Higbee, Missouri; grandchildren: Kyle (Ashley) Gully of Huntsville, Missouri, Coye Gully of Moberly, Missouri, Kasi (Justin Garcia) Gully of Moberly, Missouri, Dakota (Elizabeth) Mauzey of Cairo, Missouri, Brandy (Chris) Garrett of Madison, Missouri, Kyra Wales, Lacy Wales and Alyssa Wales all of Huntsville, Missouri, Jaylyn Gully and Connor Gully both of Huntsville, Missouri; great grandchildren: Bethany, Colten, Brenton, Aiden, Alex, Lane, and Shyla Mae; and many numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Monday, November 16, 2020, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Million Taylor Funeral Homes of Moberly. Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, November 17, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at Million Taylor Funeral Homes. Burial will follow at Huntsville City Cemetery. In lieu of customary remembrances, the family asks that memorial donations be made to the Little Dixie Regional Library.
