Tamara Bonuchi

Tamara “Tammy” Sue (Sunderland) Bonuchi, age 66, of Fayette, MO, passed away at home with family by her side on Monday, September 16, 2024.

Tammy was born on November 13, 1957, in Fayette, MO, to Bobby and Donna Jo (Mead) Sunderland. She graduated from Fayette High School in 1975. She was a member of the Busy Bee Club and enjoyed her time as a member and making crafts for craft shows. Tammy was a fantastic homemaker. She married Joseph Bonuchi on February 7, 1975, in Higbee, MO. Tammy was a socially active woman who was deeply involved in Higbee School Organizations. Tammy enjoyed fishing, hunting, and farm life, including gardening and caring for her animals. Her family and friends will always remember her witty personality, selfless acts of generosity to those in need, and her exquisite baking skills.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Bobby and Donna Jo Sunderland; sister, Bobbi Jo Gose; and nephew, Jack Nathaniel Hall.

Tammy is survived by her husband, Joe Bonuchi, of Fayette, MO; her son, Chris (Becky) Bonuchi, of Higbee, MO; daughter, Molly Bonuchi, of Scottsbluff, NE; granddaughter, Karisa (Aaron) Findling, of Higbee, MO; soon to be great-grandson, Baby Findling, of Higbee, MO; sister, Jean (John) Hall, of Higbee, MO; brother, Woody Sunderland, of Huntsville, MO; brother, Hardin Sunderland, of Eldon, MO; sister-in-law, Mary Bonuchi, of Higbee, MO; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

A funeral service celebrating Tammy’s life has been scheduled for Saturday, September 21, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Pathway-Millard Family Funeral Chapel, Moberly, MO, with Interment to follow at Higbee City Cemetery, Higbee, MO. Visitation will be held Saturday, September 21 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Pathway-Millard Family Funeral Chapel.
